View DKPs in Game

What is this?

IncDKP is a mod that lets you display our DKP numbers in game.

It works by reading a text file that is generated for you on this page.

It allows you to:

• See the DKPs of any players in our system on their tooltips.
• Dump the DKPs of a class to the local window or raid chat (if raid leader or assistant). The command is /dkp dump classname.

Downloads

Click here to download the IncDKP mod. You need to use this version as I have modified it slightly. :)

Click (right click and save as) here to download the DKP data.

Instructions

This page has the dkp data to enable use of the IncDKP mod.

To use it, download the mod and the data file available to the left in the Downloads section.

Extract the mod to the WoW Interface/Addons folder.

Copy the downloaded text file to the WoW Interface/Addons/IncDKP folder that was created in the above step.

When you next start WoW you should see DKPs for players on their tooltips and be able to dump dkp totals to the console or raid chat. (/dkp dump classname)

When the new DKP numbers are available on the main DKP page you need to update the text file again by visting this page and redownloading it. This must be done before every raid or your numbers will be out of date.

The text file you download has a date at the end of it. This is displayed in game when the mod loads (this can take a while sometimes). Make sure the date is the date of the last raid or you will be missing DKP data.

You need only download the mod once, but the text files need redownloaded after the dkps are updated on the site.
